My lab just got a 8732 Picomotor Driver unit and a 8095 stage with 6 picomotor actuators. I need to use a Labview VI to control the motion of the stage. The motion of the stage determines the focussing of a confocal microscope setup. I already have a VI that measures the confocal signal and now need a VI to control motion of the stage.
The Picomotor module manuals mention that the Newport website has sample LabView programs but I cannot find any of these anymore.
I was wondering if anyone of you guys has done this before and could help me out with what drivers to get for this issue or if you have any of the examples .vi's or .llb's from Newport or just advise me on how to go about it.
I am fairly new to Labviwew programming so any help will be greatly appreciated.
