pocket pc 2005 and PDA module 8

Hi,

most of the Pocket PC that there are in the market are working with opperation system 2005 .

I didn't understand : Do PDA module 8 can work with 2005 or I must work with only 2003 ?

Hello,

I understand you may have found documentation confusion, since the release notes LabVIEW PDA 7.1 (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/323527b.pdf) for that product were written in 2004.  In any event, I think the following document contains the answer you're looking for:

As a final note, I believe you cannot download the VIs directly in the Mobile 5 case.  Instead, you'll have to use your PDA's general file transfer mechanism.

Hi , thanks for your answer. I just have another question: Is that limitation you mentioned could affect the debugging options of an application that will run on the pda , can I still control the block diagram from my PC?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the debugging features will not work.  Basically, the built in communication mechanism used by LabVIEW PDA has not been updated for compatibility with Mobile 5.
