position control for steppermotor by encoder

Hello Everybody,

 

I would like to switch a stepper motor every 60 seconds in position A and B which are 180 degrees shifted. I would like a feedback on it with an encoder (MAE3 usdigital).  Can anybody give me tips how to do this ? 

 

what i have now is a vi that generates 199 pulses per minute that rotates the valve mostly 180 degrees. Sometimes however it misses a pulse and causes a misalignment. I ll post the VI that I have too. I also have a vi to check the position of the encoder, however, the pulse generation and the encoder position vi cannot be run at the same time. The sofrware than complains the resourse is already taken.

 

any tips or tricks, vi's are welcome !!
