printing with print report.vi

I am using windows 2000, LabVIEW run time engine and am having problems with printing. When one users logs onto windows, runs the program he is able to print the results. However if someone else logs onto windows they are unable to print. I am just using the report generation vi's that come with LabVIEW. The print report .vi is programmed to use the default printer. Has anyone else had similar problems?

How was the Run-time Engine installed? Was it installed by an administrator for the machine? If not, then an issue like this could happen. Do you have any error information on what error is actually happening? Maybe that user does not have access to that printer? If you have no way to see the error messages, then I suggest putting something in your program so that we can find them out and go from there.

I have never heard of this myself, although I have heard of general issues with print report.vi. You say that your VI prints fine when "one user logs onto windows." Then it has problems with "someone else logs onto windows." What exactly does happen? Does an error occur? Does it not print at all? Let me know when you get a chance.

The error message given was:
Error 2147221164 at class not registered in new report vi ...
I am not sure if I installed it as an administrator or not. I'll trying uninstalling and then reinstalling as an administrator.
Thanks

I gave an error number in the response above. When it trys to print it gives and error message and doesn't print at all.

Randy, I did install the RTE as administrator, and I still got the same problems. I ended up having to install the RTE when logged on as the user who could not print. This makes no sense to me. Can you shed any light on the subject?
