problem NI5112 generates no device detected error.

loading 5112 in win 2000 PC - 5411 function gen already working. Scope card will not. Is detected and installed by windows butg does not work. In NI explorer generates 1084 error

Thank you for using Developer Zone.

First of all make sure that you have the latest versions of all drivers needed to use the card.

NI-DAQ 6.9.2
NI-VISA 2.6
IVI-Engine 1.83
NI-SCOPE 2.1

All these drivers can be downloaded from our web page.
After having all latest versions of the drivers I suggest you to:
1 - Remove the card from the computer
2 - Reboot the computer and turn it off
3 - Reinstall the card in the slot

After that check if the card can be detected in MAX and in Device manager. In the Device Manager it should be listed as a Data Acquisition Device. If it is listed under data Acquisition Devices but no in MAX probably you will have to clean the registry removing all entries for the Card and re-install the card as described i
n 1,2,and 3.
