I am an currently involved with a project titled Design and Development of Home Monitoring System using powerlines and wireless communications. The objective of this project is to design a smart
home energy management system which will involve the setting up of communication link between the web server and energy devices. The web server will capture the energy consumption of each energy devices and display real time information on the total energy consumption as well as current tariff rates. Which will help user to manage their energy usage. I had done research on the possible labview version and decided to work on labview 8.6 which has the web services functions. May i know how do i go about downloading the software (labview 8.6) as i saw a 30 day trial but it requires a serial number which i do not have. Could you please advise me on this.
