problem with printing oblong format

hallo,

I'm printing frontpanels with the printpanel.vi (labview 5.1.1, win98),
but I can't print in oblong format if I set so in the printer setup.
Anyone knows why it doesn't work??

Thanks, Nikolai Maris

What kind of behavior do you see when you try and print in landscape mode? Does it still come out in portrait mode, does nothing print, etc? Also, does everything print properly in portrait mode? Are you using any special size paper?

if I try to print in landscape mode i get the same result as in portrait
mode. Both printings have a proper quality but both are in portrait mode.
If I change other settings in the printer setup, for example color and
monochrom, the printer react on it. Even not to landscape/portrait mode.
paper format is DIN-A-4, we use as default and don't have problems with
other programs.

Any idea?? Niko

You might try a couple things out as a work around. Try printing the vi by selecting "Print window" from the file menu. You can also try printing by checking the setting "Print Panel when VI completes execution" in the execution options in vi setup.
