problem with report -> set report font

Hi !

I have some problems since I installed the toolkit under the name “generation reports for MS Office”…
In fact, some VIs doesn’t work after installation.

The “Set Report Font.vi” don’t work for “Standard Report” report type.

See the picture to read the error message and the “Set Report Font.vi”

Thank for your help,

Your error message is giving an undefined error code. Check to make sure you have the correct structures for the inputs Text Options and Font Settings. The best thing to do is right click on the input terminal and select Create Constant. This will give you a correct structure with default settings. Try running with default settings, then try changing font sizes and font types. Maybe your input values are not correctly defined (like a font size of 21 - there is no font size 21). Maybe the font type you define is not available on your computer. If it runs fine with default settings, then the problem has to be with your particular settings.

It looks like the toolkit for MS Office has a different Set Report Font.vi than the regular Report Generation Toolkit. Since I don't have the MS Office toolkit, I don't think I can help you. Maybe you should consult with NI.

Hello,

The problem seems to come from Automation definition.

Please see the links below, perhaps it will solve your problem:
