I would like to know the hardware required for communication bewtween

PC to PC or PC to Robot via Profibus.

can anyone post this inforamtion for me. very imp for my project.

There are lots of profibus hardware interfaces available, You should select one that has an opc interface available to make it easy in labview.

Formerly the profibus software was quite clumsy maybe it is better now

NI, at one point, used to resell Profibus interface cards from Applicom.  I am not sure if they still do that.  In any case, you may contact them directly:  http://www.applicom-int.com/

And you will (still) find some KB articles on Applicom's Profibus cards on NI's website.  Search with keywords such as "applicom," "profibus," etc.

Just found out that there's a forum dedicated to Profibus.

So, I guess NI still does sell the Applicom cards.
