You never know.  I figured it would be obvious because the breakpoint should make it jump to the block diagram.  But if the user doesn't see that, it was one thing that could expain why the3 first Express VI executed and the second didn't.

My reply posted after the wrong post.

 

The breakpoint wasn't the problem, it was the error that posted from the instrument initialization VI that was the problem.
