protection

I did a project with LabVIEW In school, and I am trying to submit it for grading.

However, I want the user(prof) to see my block diagram and the front panel(user interface), but I do not want him to be able to adjust any of the front panels or block diagram.

The VI properties under protection does almost that, with the exception: the user can not view the block diagram.

Is there any way the user can view the block diagram, but can not make changes to it.

Thank you.

Hi,

Selecting the second option "Locked (no password)" allows the user to view the front panel and block diagram. In order to modify the front panel/block diagram the user has to go to VI properties and unlock the VI (no password reqd). So if the user is familiar with LabVIEW he can modify your VI by editing the VI properties. Hope this helps.
