I want to communicat between field point cFP-2220 and a computer using data sockets using Labview 8.6 and fieldpoint protocol
I am using publish data VI to publish the data from the field point but when I go to MAX to add the data point to the processor it it not found eventhough I ran the publish data VI and there was no error.
I have been doing the same thing on Labview 7.1 and it always works and I can find the datapoint in MAX and I can read and write using data sockets VI.
any suggestions why the point is not showing up in MAX and is there a difference in the way publish data vi works in Labview 7.1 and 8.6?
