publishing VI over internet

dear all,

           i want to publish my VI on internet, but with the web publishing tool im able to access the VI from the browser on my sytem.

is n't it possible to access them from remote location?

           my internet connection is from an ISP that maintains the original IP, and my sytem is given an IP 10.172.199.120 which is not a real IP in INDIA.

is there any way that I could publish my VI over internet, kindly some one help

Hi Chaitu

From your post I gather that you're not sure about your IP. In this KB there are some tips how you can find out your public IP as compared to your private (internal) IP and how to get around being behind a router.

Thanks david. the link given in ur post is very usefull to me i have published my VI over internet just by changing my ip configuration

to the next IP of my PROXY IP and i have set the default route through my proxy it self now my friends can conrol my vi.
