pump control

Hi everyone,

I am using a pump (from maxon 2542) and faulhaber motin controlle(MCDC 3006 S). I have a VI for to control the pump from the copmpany itself but when i run it, it gives a message "cannot use pump_control recursively". actually the specification should be as follows: it shoukd work in two speeds (say X, Y). gear ratio = 19:1, encoder = 256, Max Velocity= 6000RPM, current= 300mA. I am uploading the block diagram and the VI. I would be very thankful to you all.

Hi Rajan,

where is your problem.  I think if you rename one of both vi's, the caller or the subvi, then it should work.

thank you very much mike,i will try that one out, but i would also like to know if this model is correct for my specifications(attached in word doc)

hi mike,,,, it doesn't solve the problem,,,it still gives the same error message.
