Did you mean:

"Proj within Proj" is this a bug or a feature? LV 8.2.1

I did the following.

1) Open LV 8.2.1 then created and saved a new proj.

2) Right-click on My Computer (in proj explorer window) and selected "add folder" then selected the folder where I had saved my proj.

3) Checked list of files in proj and I was suprised to find the proj file was included.

So....

Is this a bug or a feature?

If its a feature, what would be a use case for this?

Your thoughts?

Ben

I think it is not a bug nor a special feature.

The 'Add folder' just includes references to every file inside a folder (including non-LV).

A special use case for this?I don't think so.

Another note, I think it is bad manner to place your project file besides the code.

Now that I read you say that, it makes sense.

I think you just added a new bullet to my personal style guide. Smiley Happy
