If you want an even higher abstraction about software quality, take a look
at CMM (CMMi for IT projects).
GMP is based on ISO 900x, but specialized on manufacturing (ISO 900x is for
company householding). GAMP is specialized for automation manufacturing.
GAMP is recognized by the FDA.
The main focus of ensuring a high quality level will be on the development
process. No standard I know off focusses on one specified programming
language.
