"VI properties malfunction"

Hi,

   In the VI properties I have a check next to Run when opened. However, when I select the VI from the project explorer it does NOT run. It opens in edit mode. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I am using Labview 8.0.

This is probably by design.

Personally, I think the described behavior is much more desirable in an code development environment. 🙂
