"dir.mnu" file is missing in Labview 6.0.2

I do not see a "dir.mnu" file in my "user.lib" folder. If it is deleted, my understanding is it should automatically be re-created the next time I run Labview, but it hasn't. What must I do to fix this?

Just to test this for you, I deleted mine and ran LabVIEW. It did not reappear on my machine either. Where did you hear that it would be automatically re-created?

I read it in the troubleshooting suggestion that someone else posted for a problem with "memory.cpp". They said that it could be due to a faulty "dir.mnu" file, and to fix it, you should delete the file and run Labview, after which it would automatically be recreated. Coincidentally, I was having a "memory.cpp" error as well, which is why I tried to delete the dir.mnu file. I still have not resolved the "memory.cpp" error, by the way...

I've worked with a number of those .cpp errors. I can try to help you out if you'd like.

1) Exactly when do you get the error? What is your application doing and at what point does this occur?
2) What line number is the error coming from?
3) If you build a small version of this VI, does it still exhibit the same behavior?

Let me know these things when you get a chance and we can work on this.
