re: I started getting an error message: 10240

More on this problem:

I did the following but I'm still getting this message:

-- Completely uninstalled the drivers.
-- Physically took the NI card out to the computer.
-- Reloaded the drivers.
-- Installed and fresh copy of the compiled VI's and associative files.
-- Installed the card back in.
-- The computer recognize the card right away.
-- The card has no conflicts with any other device on the computer.
-- The card passes the test.

However, when I start our program I still get the 10240 error...

There are well over a dozen other computers working well with the same configuration and same set of compiled VIs.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Ahmet

Make sure that in the same directory as the executable you have a file called daqdrv. This should be the daq driver file which allows the LabVIEW executable to access the NI-DAQ driver software.

There is a bunch of stuff already on the web for this error code. Goto Advanced Search
and search for 10240 .
