remove shading of boolean indicator

I have created a boolean indicator which has some default shading to it.  Is there a way to get rid of the shading (plain color, unshaded) using the property nodes.  The help file doesn't really appear to address shading.

You could use the classic boolean indicator, it has per default no shading.

The trick is to copy the images from the Modern control to the images of a classic control. You do this using Customize Control...

See attached file.

If you have Microsoft Power Point you can create a rectangle of the desired color, perform a copy (Ctrl-C), then with your boolean opened in the LabVIEW control editor (right click on the control, select Advanced, Customize...), change to customize mode (the little "wrench" icon next to the "Control" pulldown). Then selecting the desired "picture item" (right click on the control), and "import from clipboard at same size. Repeat with other state colors. Boolean indicator without shading. Other images can be created/imported, making valves, switches, etc.

A lot of work ...

Duh! I simpler way, particularly if you don't have Powerpoint and your image is simple (rectangle/circle) is to open the boolean in the control editor, place a "decoration" (Modrn Pallette), color it whatever color you need, delete it (Ctrl-X) then perform the "import at same size". Didn't think of it because I was making some complex images (a switched air manifold) that required a bit more drawing capability.

It is a good idea when attaching vi's to indicate what version they were saved in. Saves the hassle of someone downloading and trying to open to find that it was created in a newer version.
