rename device in MAX

I used to be able to rename my devices in MAX to something more meaningful than Dev1, 2,3 etc.

Now I get an error message when I try to rename devices.  I also can no longer delete any device in my device list.

I'm running MAX version 4.6.2f1 and DAQmx version 9.0.2

Anyone else seen this strange behavior?  Any suggested fixes other than re-install MAX?

That behavior is incorrect. Let's try refreshing: VIEW>>Refresh to see if that helps. If this does not fix the problem, you might have a MAX database corruption problem. In ordder to solve this issue, please refer to the Knowledge Base found on this link:
