I don't suppose there is anyway of getting the DLL to generate an event? Polling is inheirently problematic and wastes CPU cycles.
Unfortunatly, I find LV is pretty poor on event driven programming methodologies. I'm working on LV 7.0 and am working on the finishing touches in writing a generic, event driven, TCP/IP communication. What a PITA!!! 😞 I understand that versions 8 on have imporoved this, but I dunno.
