Did you mean:

save tektronix waveform into csv file

I think you are just seeing the default of 6 decimal places. You might have to edit the VI to change it.

The Write to Measurement File uses relative time or use the regular Write to Spreadsheet File and create the timestamps yourself. A simple for loop with a shift register where you pass the t0 and dt is all that you need.

Can you be more specific on how to add dt and d0 and also add them to the spreadsheet?

Thank you!

Create a for loop with a shift register. Initialize it to 0. Pass the dt to an add function inside the loop that has the other input wired to the left shift register. The output of the add is wired to the right shift register. The left side shift register is also wired out through the for loop. Wire the y array to the boundry of the loop. The auto indexing feature of the for loop will cause it to create an output array equal in size to the u array.

More difficult to describe than actually do. I'd post an image but I am on my phone.

Then I'll give you a hand Dennis.

But you do not have the export waveform to file.vi?

Thanks,

Except the output has to be on the other side of the add to have 0 as the first element in the array.

Your comment about the export waveform makes no sense since you said you did not like the format.

Sorry for the confustion. I turned back to the export waveform to file.vi

The timestamps I talked about was generated from that vi.

Oops.  You're right.  That's what happens when you just throw stuff together while trying to get out of the office.
