scan for instruments MAX, GPIB

Solved!

Hi!

I've got one problem.  I made a program in Labview with two devices directed by GPIB. Now one of them don't work correctly.  I did "scan for instruments" inside of MAX and now it only "see" one of them.  I checked the connections and they're ok. I don't know what more try, because I change nothing and before it worked.

What can I do in order to this instrument appears again?

Thanks!

First I would double check the GPIB addresses.  Secondly, make sure both devices are in a normal state.  I recently had a power supply go into an error mode and then refuse to talk over GPIB until I turned it off and then back on.

I've tried many times and it doesn't work with both devices connected, but if I connect one by one

both work.  I don't know if I'm doing something wrong adding more than one device in MAX.  They're

plug and play.  I should just connect them and then "scan for instrument", shouldn't I?

ideas are welcome! 😃

Well, I finally had some problems with GPIB addresses.  The first time I used the devices they were configured but it changed suddenly.

I selected another address and now everything works right.

Thanks.
