scxi configuration with LabView 2011

I have SCXI 1102/1303/1122/1322 and 1000/1001 chasis with LabView 2011 (32-bit), MAX5.0, DAQ_mX 9.4, Tranditional DAQ 7.4.4, Window XP

The tranditional one can configure the SCXI devices and get the right data.

But If I use the DAQ_mX 9.4, the software couldn't detected the devices.

Dose anybody know what happened?

Thank you so much

Maybe there is a driver that you need, and it is not installed on the other version of MAX.  Try to go through all the software installed on the version that works and see is there a discrepency between the new and old.

Do you have any ideas that which software is compatible for SCXI devices with LabVIEW 2011?

I check the DAQ_mX 9.4 readme, it supports the SCXI devices I have.

But I couldn't get them recognized

For your SCXI, do you have a USB module in the chassis, so that you can connect the SCXI chasis directly to your PC through an USB cable, or do you need to connect the chassis to a separate DAQ card that is in the PC?

Hello Hsin,

Here is a link that speaks to the compatibility of SCXI hardware with NI DAQmx drivers: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/6914

I believe that based on that chart your SCXI hardware will work with NI DAQmx 9.3: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2337/lang/en

Hsin,

Give NI DAQmx 9.3 a try. If this doesn't work, let me know.

Hsin,

Here is a general article on how to uninstall National Instruments Software: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/AC6ED75D3D93375686256E8E00245F0D?OpenDocument

Just apply it to your case.
