yes.

How to do?

In the file palette (LV8+) you find a function to list directory's contents, sorted by files and sub-folders. Compare the resulting "files"-array with your filename (case-insensitive...) to look for your file... Use the "sub-folders" output to enable recursive search. Or use the built-in recursive search feature...

Or wait for ~1 hour, than I can attach an example

this file exsist some where in my computer , i want onlyt to type the file name .. then the application tell me where is it found , and if it found or not

Open the VI "Recursive File List" that's part of the Librarian Manager. The default location for this is "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib\Utility\libraryn.llb". This will recursively list all files from a starting location. Then, just search the All Files in Dir output array for your file. You will need to strip the path for each array element, but that's trivial.

Note: The recursive file listing will be slow if you tell it to search your entire hard disk.
