As long as the VIs are there, then the installation is fine.
If you move a VI to a different directory structure or different drive letter, LV sometimes loses its relative paths to VIs, including standard LV VIs. I have on occasion had to repoint standard VI calls to the proper LV directory or library.
Are the VIs on your PC? You mentioned c:\Program Files\LabVIEW. That is not the default install path, at least not for any recent version of LabVIEW. If someone installed to that directory and you did a standard install, that could also be the issue.
YOu should only have to go through the exercise once in repointed to the files. Once you save everything, LV will know where to get the files.
