sensitivity of intensity graph

hi

please tell me about intensity graph..

i have data varying with very small differences.and i want there must be some visible graph through which i can predict easily about change of data, how much variation is there??

The "dynamic range" of the intensity graph is 8-bits or 256 levels.  If you scale your data to maximize the use of this range, and choose your colors wisely (I like greyscale myself) it will often work quite well.
