sensor data fusion of 2 flow sensors

Hello, I'm plannin to use 2 flow sensors namely Ultra sonic flow sensor and a EM flow sensor measuring the same flow thru a straight pipe. I want to know which algorithm I shud use to implement the data fusion technique. Any material which u can give me to help will also be appreciated !

We can't answer this question without more info on the devices you are using to measure. Are they analog signals, serial ports, ethernet ports...

The good thing about more than one sensor is that you never know the actual flow 😉

There are many ways to merge the information of both signals to one information. 

Simple: mean value,  add both values and divide by two 

Assuming that both sensors have ranges where they measure with better performance:

Use a weighting curve for both sensors
