I see what you mean.  It's not what I originally understood, but it would seem quite likely that you are correct.

 

Makes things a bit more awkward, doesn't it?

Hello to everybody,

 

the bit length is 17.4µs, so we have a speed of 57600baud.

 

You are right, neither M1 nor M2 is the PC. In the frist step I just want to see, or as you call it "sniff", the 16bit data with my PC.

Later on, in the second step, I want to break up the lines and put my PC in between the two modules and manipulate the 16bit signal.

So, do you have any idea how to get and send the data? Or is it the wrong way to use the Serial Port? Maybe I should just use a Digital I/O module to read and write the 16 bit?!?!

Yes I think a digital IO would be much better.....
