serial communications problem

Hi,I like to try your vi (Test RS-232 Serial Communications.vi). But it is for LabView6.1 and I only have LabView 6.0. Do you have it for LabView 6.0? Thanks a lot.

I made a short look at your VI. JB's answer is the one thing I also have seen.

Another thing is setting the parameters for the communication.

In hyperterminal are the flow control (SW/HW handshake) also disabled? You configured the baudrate and byte parameters but the flow control is set to default which means no handshake.
