Hi,
I just found an "interesting behaviour" using LV2011SP1:
I try to set the font size of FP elements like this:
The upper graph is selected and I choose font size = 18 from the font settings dropdown menu. So what would you expect?
The resulting front panel looks like this:
WTF?
Why do array indicator containing numeric indicators change their font size when I selected just the graph? Why does the graph doesn't change the font size of it's numerics (scales...)?
Any thoughts on this "behaviour"?

Gerd,
can you strip down the VI and post it (essentially simply remove the BD code or even remove the complete BD)?
I concur that moving the arrays is not expected. But i find that the lower screenshot has increased font size for the x-axis. Interestingly, it seems to affect BOTH graphs.
Are any of the elements connected to the graphs (e.g. palette)? Do elements increase size or simply move?

Hi Norbert,
you're right: font sizes are changed.
But: all FP elements, which use "dialog font", have changed. Only items, where I changed other settings before (like height of the string element of the vertical string array or the Y-scale font), didn't change...
Right now I can only attach the two pictures (to view them unscaled). For the VI you have to wait til next week...
So we can change the topic to "Why do all FP elements change their font size when I selected just one?"

Gerd,
good news: It seems that this is an already known issue reported as CAR #306025.
It seems that all font properties changed for a graph element effects all FP elements which have been created/placed AFTER the graph element.
hope this helps,
Norbert
EDIT: The CAR has been filed for LV 2010 SP1. It is still not solved, that's why 2011 has the issue as well.

Gerd,
i'm sorry. But you know, "stable" is not "bugfree" 😉
But i confirm that running into bugs is always disappointing....
