shared variable control

I use a shared variable to read from an OPC server, this is a wind speed and it give me a value in m/s.

Which control can I make on this value and how can display a short message in case of error?

Hi enzo78,

do you mean if the error output of the shared varible is set? What do you mean with "which control can..."? I thought you can see the value. The easiest way is to right clock in the shared variable and select create -> create indicator.
