What types of closed loop systems are you looking for?  PID, lead-Lag, linear quadratic regulator..etc?

PID control would be the most suitable one.

I did a quick search on our website and found some good resources on PID control.  Note that you need the PID toolkit to run the examples.  I hope this helps.
