Would anybody have a very simple example VI using an "event structure".

Perhaps changing in the E number control and a result.. through the event structure?

In LabVIEW, go to Help->Find Examples. In the "Browse" tab, sort according to "Task" and go to Building User Interfaces->General. There are several examples in there on using an Event Structure.
