simulation a joystick

hey,guys. i want to simulate a joystick in labview and display some parameters of my action on the joystick: 1.move location, 2.speed of movement, 3.kinds of movement. there are two basic actions（pic.1 and pic.2)

Details: the joystick should be moved in four directions( L R U D) ; at the same time, the location and the speed of  movement should be displayed.

Details: it is another kind of action. The location and speed should be displayed, too.

i am a new bird to labview and i know labview has many poweful boolean buttons. but i do not know how to display more about my action: like how fast do i move? where do
