You will need to provide more information to make your question clear. Is this your own simulation code, or are you using the Simulation Toolkit? Local variable of what? Value of what? You said you're using the local variable to access each value. Each value of what? Why are you using local variables, as opposed to just the control terminals?
Can you post your code, or at the very least a screenshot? Please post screenshots in PNG/JPEG/GIF format, not BMP. Remember: renaming a .bmp file to .png does not magically change its format.
