spartan 3e & Labview 2011

Hello all,

I just want to assure you that we do hear you. As of now, we are targeting 2011 SP1 for a release of the Spartan 3E driver. Thats all the information I can give at this time.

Cheers!

But, I don´t get it

We will have labview 2012 in a few months and a lot of people will ask

Is there a labview 2012 spartan 3 driver?

Why don´t you make a driver compatible with any version of LabView?

It´s really annoying have a new version every year wich is not compatible with the last year edition drivers

The main issue, HxcBarrigaHxc, is that we found an issue with some changes in LV 2011 that broke the driver. Additionally, you have to keep in mind that this is not a board that NI makes, so there are many more products that take precendence over this.

How about a driver that supports any FPGA board for any user?

Hey Hammerheadjim,

I was made aware of that the other day, and am working with our Web Content team to get it fixed.

The good news is that it's not really a bad file. For some reason the downloader asks you to name the file, and if you don't name it <something>.exe, you won't be able to run it properly. Just name it "installer.exe", and it will start the zip archive self-extraction process. I have verified this process on Windows 7.

Sorry for the bug, but I am working on getting it fixed.

Cheers!
