starting gpib with HP4156A

I have used a lot of Labview but never with GPIB. I used MAX and have communicated with the instrument but all of a sudden feel really out of it when it comes to start writing a program that will communicate with the instrument in labview. It is an HP 4156A Semiconductor Parameter Analyser. Could someone jump start me???????? Thanks

I searched this sites Driver network and it lists a 488.2 Labview driver for the HP4156. Start by downloading this and looking it over. This will probably get you headed in the right direction. Hope this helps.

Here is the link to the instrument drivers. There should be a getting started VI or some example program included. Just be sure you put the folder in your instr folder within you LabVIEW folder.
