stepper motor control with labview

Hello,

I am trying to control my stepper motor with labVIEW. I already have a complete labVIEW code that works with a different stage. I am trying to set up a new stepper motor on a different computer. I wish to use the same code just make enough changes that allow me to move the new stage. What can I do to remove the references to the old stage and replace them with the new one so that labVIEW can communicate with it? (If I am not wrong its something to do with the dll files).

(I am able to control the stage using the GUI and labVIEW vi's provided by NI separately)

Any help will be much appreciated.

Do you expect us to tell you how to "fix" your code that we can't see?  Attach your VI, tell us the characteristics (or Identifiers) of the new motor, and we might have some helpful suggestions.
