Did you select a DAQ channel first?

And all the other selections that appeared in the popup window?

I was following the logic from the previous version.  As I said, I didn't test the code. 

If I have time tonight, I can simulate the DAQ setup and try running it..

yes I did , the start button is not active at all !!

Also I found out that I have to push exit 2 times to exit the vi

Oh yes...  I forgot that the START button gets disabled if no DAQ is selected.

That's fixed.  I didn't get a chance to investigate further the need to select EXIT twice. 

Does it occur when you exit while running?  or after you stop the acquisition?  or for both situations?

The START button should now be enabled after selecting a DAQ device.

Cool , i did fix the Spirometry probleme using build path and file dialog , it works fine :)So that one is done.

I will add the GUI.vi , u might do some improvments or suggestions .
