strain gauge reading with PCI-6013

I would like to read a strain gauge using my PCI-6013, I know the strain gauge needs a 10V excitation which the 6013 can't do. So what do I need to do to make this work. I don't want to buy a SCC module because it will add several hundred to a very low cost project. Does anybody have another way to do this?

Thanks
Bryan

Hi Bryan:
You should be able to supply an external 10V to the strain gauge to achieve the excitiation voltage. Make sure you use the correct pins and that you keep the 10 V as stable as possible. Hope this help
