Your exactly right, with the key focus property of the xcontrol itself, you get a black frame around the whole xcontrol. With the key focus property of the control in the xcontrol, the key focus is set properly.
How can I tell labview to set the key focus on that specific control in the xcontrol? I had the idea of using a method, but didn't came that far.
