stringsa and numbers in a same file?

Hello

I have different numeriques data to write in a report file and wonder
whether it's possible to include in the beginning of the file, the date and
hour, those data were taken.

I'm sure it's possible but I don't find the right vi to both include a
string data, namely date and hour and numbers.
