Actually i am working on machine interfacing and i am facing some while sending data to the analyser from the host machine actually i don't understand how to generate the check sum key for sending key.

please help me, Appreciate in advance...

Actually i am working on the machine interface i am new in this work so need your help i am not able send actual check sum of the character which i am sending to the analyser from the host computer please help me. appreciated in advanced.

This is the key which i want sent to the analyser machine and in the key second last 142 is the check sum of the key it given bellow.

000000000000001RSN0003GLU BUN CHO 142 0x04

so, please help me sort this out how check sum became 142 in this scenario.
