We, as a company, use tagserver and citadel DB with MS-SQL as the backend to present and save LabVIEW variables over network easily and readily.
First of all, tag server takes up lots of memory.
And citadel DB becomes unresponsive often, and its unresponsiveness causes tag server to hang or crash.
"I" think it would be better to use TCP/IP and MS-SQL directly.
Can anybody recommend better alternatives to tag server and citadel DB?
