tekVISA and NI-VISA

I am trying to figure the best way to resolve the issues with installing both NI-VISA and tekVISA. I first installed tekVISA and followed up with NI-VISA. The installer for NI-VISA asked me to rename the existing visa32, which I did, and of course when I restarted my computer tekVISA errored out because of the name change. What is the best approach here?

First of all you do not need TEK-visa and NI-visa. However if you are going to use labview for programming then you need to NI-visa. They are really both pretty much the same thing one is from tektronix and the other from NI. When you install NI-Visa it also installs some files for the different express VI's. the only reason that I can think of to even have tek-visa is to communicate with different scopes and NI-Visa does this very nicely, I do it all of the time.
