tektonix oscilloscope in MAX

Solved!
Go to solution

yesterday i had a tektornix 2024b oscilloscope operating under labview.

Yet, today i cant get the oscilloscope to show up in MAX or labview.

I can see the oscilloscope as a usb device in windows device manager

Yet, it does not show up a usb device in visa.

Ive tried, rebooting the computer, rebooting the oscilloscope, and changing usb ports on the computer.

Ive tried reinstalling everything i did yesterday with no luck.

The downlaods include

the drivers

https://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=047216EC20B66FABE0440003BA7CC...

and also the signalexpress tetronix edition.

I can plug the oscope into another computer and it works wtih the generic tektronix software.

what is going on here?

any hits on what to try next?

that didnt go exactly as a planned.

i corrupted MAX by settng the texvisa to be the default.

my applicatoin is running again though

i get the error now in max

viOpenDefaultRM returned 0xBFFF009E (Error - A code library required by VISA could not be loaded)

Please make sure VISA is properly installed on this system.

Hello Jimmy,

Often reinstalling VISA will take care of such an error.
