template creation using labview

I am using labview to inspect LCD monitor. I did create some templates

but I have to use vision builder or vision assistant for that. Is there any way

I could define a template for patern matching or geometric matching.

Hi Yesh,

Please be a little bit more specific about what you'd like to do.  Are you trying to do pattern matching in LabVIEW, without using the Vision Assistant?  You can also call the Vision Assistant from LabVIEW if you like, and configure it just like you would the stand-alone vision assistant. Additionally, there are example programs in LabVIEW that illustrate how to do pattern matching and geometric matching: Help>Example Finder>Toolkits and Module>Vision>Functions>Pattern Matching.

Nice question actaually if i understand it correctly. How do you create that .png file as template from labview. I traditionally create it from vision assistant. I vaguely remember getting an error if i created the png from paint.
