text messaging to verizon cell phone

I am using e-mail notification.vi and having no problem sending messages from LabView to my e-mail account.  I would like to also send the messages to my cell phone by text messaging.  Verizon uses vtext.com with the phone number as the prefix. 

Does anyone know how to do this?

Send an email message to phonenumber@vtext.com.

This same question has been posted numerous times. Did you try doing a search?

I'm not sure what the question is here. You said you have no problem sending messages to an email account, and you know that Verizon uses vtext.com with the phone number as the prefix.

So... what's the question?

I type in the phone number@vtext.com, but then it asks for 'the address of a valid mail server'.  I don't know what this should be, vtext.com, verizon.com, or do I need to input some other mail server. 

Like I said, e-mail works great, I just can't make it send text messages.

If you really are using the email functions, then I don't understand the confusion. You use the same server.
